What did you do today?

1.  Today, I drew Elsa walking away from Anna. Anna wanted Elsa to bring back summer.  But, Elsa didn't want to.  I showed that Elsa and Anna were walking by drawing lines by their feet.  (Erin)
2.  Today, I was learning how to do a survey.  The questions I asked was "What is your favourite song?"  Then, I asked my friends the question.  My friends had to write their name over their favourite song.  (Avery)
3.  Today, it was Sophie and Owen's "Show and Tell".  Lily asked Sophie about the colour of her item.  Taha asked Owen what shape his object has. (Jamie)
4.  Today, I looked at a recipe book.  I copied my favourite recipe. (Gia)
5.  Today, I was writing ingredients for "Poppy's Favourite Chocolate Cake".  (Sam)

1.  Today, Ms. Giles sent us an email because she read our blog.  She said that we had a fun day!  (Jamie)
2.  Today, we read a book called Pigeon Wants a Puppy.  (Donita)
3.  Today, we learned about lines, how lines are used to tell a story.  For example, when the pigeon waves hello, we see little lines around his wing, to show that he is waving his wing.  (Seanna)
4.  Today, I sang the alphabet.  (Adam)
5.  Today, I colored a color book.  I read my book to Mrs. Carroll.  (Naomi)

1.  Today, I helped write a book about a dinosaur (Pop mange de toutes les couleurs).  When he eats certain colors, he changes into those colors.  (Erin)
2.  Today, we read a story about a dinosaur who changes into the colors of the foods he eats. The title is Pop mange de toutes les couleurs.  (Avery)
3.  Today, I played teacher.  I was helping friends read and spell their names.  (Samuella)
4.  Today, I made a pattern:  pine cone, pine cone, blue gem and repeat.  (Noku)
5.  Today, I played on the SMARTboard.  I sorted the living and the non-living things.  (Louis)

1.  Today, I made a pattern.  My pattern was two pine cones and a blue gem, and repeat.  (Juan Miguel)

3.  Today, I went to the Science Centre.  I sorted the living and non-living things.  (Aniyah)
4.  Today, we read a Remembrance Day book. We saw poppies and soldiers.  (Sam)
5.  Today, I went to the Art Centre.  I painted a big heart, with little hearts around it.  I painted a small poppy inside my big heart.  I used black and red.  I used the colour red because it means love.  (Lucia)

1.  Today, I drew a picture with a black marker.  Then, I coloured my picture in red because red means love.  (Taha)

4.  Today, I went to the Dramatic Centre.  I was the customer.  I bought braided bread (un pain tressé).  (Sophie)
