What did you do today?

1. Today, Mme Carroll showed us how to do our French "Show and Share."  We asked her 5 questions (e.g., Quelle couleurs est-ce que c'est? -What colour is it?  Que fait-on avec? - What do we do with it? ).  Then, we had 3 guesses to guess what item she had in her bag.  (Sophie)
2.  Today, I went to the Art Centre.  I made a snowman.  (Lily)

1.  Today, I put on a play called "The Gingerbread Man".  I played the character of the cow (vache) and I moved the river prop.  (Juan Miguel)

1.  Today, I played in the sensory bin.  There are polar bears (ours polaires) and penguins (pingouins).   (Andrea)
2.  Today, I made a snowflake.  I painted popsicle sticks white and I glued jewels on it.  (Archita)
3.  Today, I went to the Writing Centre.  I drew a picture of my favourite animal; a horse.  (Gia)

1.  Today, we put the gingerbread man in water.  He broke in pieces.  The pieces were squishy.  (Louis and Lucia)
2.  Today, I wrote "mom" and "dad". (Andrew)
3.  Today, I brought in a book with fairy tales in it because there was a gingerbread story in it and Mme Carroll has been reading us different version of the story.  Mine was a different one. (Sophie)
4.  Today, I put on a gingerbread puppet show with the puppet we created.  Lucia, Sophie and Gia put on the puppet show with me.  (Jamie)

3.  Today, we built a snowman in the classroom.  We had snow in a sensory bin.  We measured our snowman.  It was 28 cm tall.  It was 14 snapcubes tall this morning.  We were going to measure it this afternoon but couldn't.  It had melted!  (Archita and Jamie)

5.  Today, we listened to the story Le petit bonhomme en pain d'épices.  Yestesrday, we listened to 2 stories about the gingerbread man.  We talked about the similarities and differences between the versions of the story.
