1.  Today, I played a Valentine's memory game.  (Lily)

4.  Today, we learned the groundhog hibernates in a burrow (Taha)
5.  Today, I went to the Art centre and I made a picture of a heart.  Avery was using the heart punch to punch a hearts and she let me use one of them. I took one of the hearts she punched out and I coloured it in and I put it in on the heart that I made.  Then, I did heart punches around my picture. (Sophie)

What did you do today?

1.  Today, I made a heart for my mom for Valentine's Day.  (Naomi)

3.  Today, I went to the gym.  There were stations (e.g., frisbees, hula hoops, skipping ropes and balls).  
4.  Today, my tooth fell out. Tomorrow, I will draw a picture of what the tooth fairy left for me. (Lily)

What did you do today?

1.  Today, we read about what porcupines do in the winter.  I learned that they can climb up a tree to rest and if they are too cold, they can roll up in a ball.  They can also roll up in a ball in a cave or a barn.  (Lucia)
2.  Today, we learned how to rhyme words in French.  We rimed words with "frigo".  We used real words (e.g., l'eau, chapeau, manteau) and we used silly words (e.g., lo, mero, clo).  (Samuella)
3. Today, we are going to the gym for "Reach for the Stars". (Avery)
4.  Today, I counted the numbers on the number caterpillar in French.  (Noku)
5.  Today, I went to the Math Centre and I made diamonds and I asked friends which diamond they like."  (Sophie)

1.  Today, we drew a picture of Napkin Man, on a napkin.  We wrote "Napkin Man".  (Jamie and Aidan).

3.  Today, I went to the geoboards and I made shapes.  I made triangles, squares, rectangles and hexagons.
4.  Today, I we learned about migration.  The Canada goose migrates.  (Lily)

Tuesday, we had a bus cancellation day.  Therefore, pizza day will be Friday.  This will be the case whenever a bus cancellation day takes place on a Tuesday.

1.  Today, there is a new word on a new hand.  The word is "that".  We give the hand a high-five on the way in our classroom and out of our classroom.  (Louis)

1. Today, Mme Carroll showed us how to do our French "Show and Share."  We asked her 5 questions (e.g., Quelle couleurs est-ce que c'est? -What colour is it?  Que fait-on avec? - What do we do with it? ).  Then, we had 3 guesses to guess what item she had in her bag.  (Sophie)
